- I am a Composition Instructor at Antelope Valley College. I recently graduated from Cal. State Bakersfield with a Master's degree in English. My thesis was on polyvalence (multiple, privileged voices as opposed to a single voice) as a defining feature of Cormac McCarthy's Blood Meridian. In the next year I will be prayerfully considering whether to pursue a Ph.D. in Modern American Literature and teach at a Christian University, or to go to seminary and work with the arts at a local church. I am a Christian who is attempting to explore issues confronting the Arts.
